INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION EXAMPLE

Universities strive to deliver high-impact educational experiences to differentiate themselves and cultivate culturally aware graduates. While over 40% of college students express interest in studying abroad, only 3% actually take the leap.

THE ASK: The client partnered with the customized programming team to launch a summer multi-course program in Barcelona, featuring faculty-led instruction. I was tasked with developing a comprehensive go-to-market strategy and content plan to boost student enrollment.

STRATEGY: We implemented an integrated digital marketing campaign to raise awareness and drive student engagement. Key initiatives included:

  • Landing Page: Created a dedicated landing page with lead capture, outlining program details.

  • Digital Posters: Designed engaging digital posters for AV screens throughout campus.

  • Print Materials: Developed versatile print-ready flyers and postcards with QR codes linking to the landing page.

  • Social Media Campaign: Curated content focused on:

    • Available courses

    • Housing arrangements

    • Planned activities and excursions

    • Scholarship opportunities

    • Application deadlines

  • Email Nurture Campaign: Launched a series of emails to keep students informed and engaged.

  • Alumni Involvement: Leveraged alumni for on-campus promotions and word-of-mouth marketing in the program’s second year.

RESULTS: The program saw 166% growth from year 1 to 3. In the fourth year, the program was expanded to two summer sessions in Barcelona and a new location in Costa Rica.
